TopBet offers great deposit bonuses and promotions. They also allow US citizens to bet on their website. Apart from that, they do not stand out in any other category. Their array of provided games, betting markets, and live-betting options is slim compared to other sports-books on the market, including those that are American-friendly. Its recommended that you take advantage of Frostbet’s TopBet deposit bonuses and promotions, then file for a divorce (with the sports-book, not your wife. Or both, I don’t care).
Deposit Bonuses and Promotions
When it comes to great deposit bonuses and a high-quality sports-book, a “you can’t have your cake and eat it too” phenomena appears.
(For the record, I hate that saying. I also hate people who use sayings. Just speak normally, man)
Low-quality sports-books normally offer great deposit bonuses to attract customers. They know that people are not likely to switch sports-books after they become accustomed with the one that they are using. This is observed with TopBet. They have great deposit bonuses, but thats about it.

Availability
TopBet allows American customers, even if they are living outside Nevada or New Jersey. They do not allow Canadian users.
User Interface
TopBet’s website is easy to navigate. The left-hand side-bar allows you to navigate between sports and betting markets. Alternating between full-game, half-time, and quarter markets can be done using the top-bar once selecting a sport. Compared to some of the other sports-books on the market it is also somewhat graphically pleasing, with a black, yellow, and silver design. Selecting your bet-type can be done with the drop-down menu to the right of the betting markets.
While their interface is easy to use, there is one serious problem with TopBet’s website: Its so fucking slow. Seriously, it takes a long time to load each page. I initially thought this was just a one-off with slow servers, but as I checked the website a few more times over the course of a month I found it to be the norm. Thats a serious problem. There is no excuse for a sports-book to have very long wait-times. Either the website needs to be re-designed, or they should consider calling their hosting company and upgrading their package. Whenever you go to place a bet you will get a spinning-wheel. Its embarrassing. Marks deducted from one of the few categories they are average in.
Available Games
The best way to describe the set of games that TopBet provides is “eh”. Could be worse, but it also could be much better. They cover all of the major sports, and some of the sub-leagues for soccer. This is definitely a better option than certain local sports-books, which only cover the top American sports leagues. However, TopBet’s array of games does not even come close to matching up to those of Bovada or 5Dimes (two sports-books that are also american-friendly).
Available Betting Markets
In terms of the betting markets (what you can bet on for each game), TopBet once again falls short to their competition. Unless you are looking at one of the most popular events of the season, you will be hard-pressed to find anything other than the standard money-line, spread, and total options (for full-game, halves, and quarters). This does not give TopBet customers a lot of options to choose from when deciding what to bet on. I am always fair when reviewing American-friendly sports-books, as I compare them to other sites that allow US citizens. 5Dimes and Bovada will always offer a ton of team and player props for nearly every MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA, NCAAB, NCAAF, and top-tier soccer league game. Even in a big tournament such as the Gold Cup, TopBet drop the ball with their selections.
Live-Betting
Lets take a look at all of the games that will have live-betting enabled at TopBet on a busy Sunday.
Thats embarrassing. The only games that TopBet will offer live-betting for will be the once-a-week primetime game that everyone will be watching. And even will all of their focus on one game, they still do not have the courage to offer non-commercial locked betting. This means that you need to wait until play has stopped to place a bet. Thats old-school, time to get with the times.
Even with their pathetic live-betting system, they still restrict you to betting the standard markets (money-line, total, spread). Stop being such a prude, TopBet. Have a bit of fun for once.
Quality of Odds
I know I have ripped Topbet in this review for doing many things wrong, but I will give credit where credit is due. They offer pretty good odds. They do not throttle their customers with square lines, making the betting itself decent. Here is an example of the lines that three american-friendly sports-books (TopBet, 5Dimes, and Bovada) are offering for this week’s Sunday Night Baseball game:
TopBet (Angels -120, over 7.5 -115):
5Dimes (Angels -120, over 7.5 -140):
Bovada (Angels -126, over 7.5 -130):
In this example, on a primetime event, TopBet provide the least square line out of the three major sports-books that accept US action. I hate to draw generalizations based on one line, since the current price is largely associated with the specific betting distribution at that particular sports-book. I just wanted to use this example to show that TopBet are not as fast to move their lines for fear of mass square action. Its rare to find a sports-book with slow-moving lines. If you are knowledgable about how to take advantage of this, it can be very profitable.
Deposit Time and Methods
TopBet accept deposits via credit card, QuickCash, cheque, and debit card. Payments are processed instantly.
Withdrawal Time and Methods
All payouts are processed via courier cheque. Many users have experienced slower-than-projected payouts with TopBet. Until they add more withdrawal methods that are more convenient (such as eWallet or Bitcoin), they will continue to rank amongst the lowest in this specific category.
Customer Support
TopBet provides customer support via phone or e-mail. A lack of live-chat implementation with their customer support team takes away a lot of marks from this section. Its crucial to provide your users with all forms of ways to get in touch with support. When it comes to sports-betting, most users would prefer to have their issued resolved via live-chat.
